It’s been a great year for our enamelware department as we continue to sell some items quicker than the factory can make them. More and more consumers are realizing the benefits of enamel dinnerware over plastic, melamine, and conventional ceramic dinnerware. Now that the bisphenol A used to make polycarbonate baby bottles has become such a health concern, parents are looking for alternatives such as glass and enamelware for their families. Melamine is a questionable choice for food because it is made with formaldehyde, which has been linked to allergies, asthma, and cancer.  And as far as your typical ceramic dinnerware is concerned, a chip in an enameled plate will not affect the usefulness of the item. On the other hand, a ceramic bowl or plate that is dropped usually leaves you with nothing except a mess to clean up. After a couple of months of being sold out, the D95DBM Blue Marble Enamel Splatterware Buffet Plates are finally in transit to our east coast warehouse. West coast warehouse already has replenished their inventory, so large quantity orders are shipping immediately. Maybe next year we won’t sell them faster than the factory can make them! ETA is Monday, Aug. 24th and backorders will ship on that day or the next depending on what time the spatterware shipment arrives at the warehouse. Remember when odering Enamelware or Graniteware Coffee Pots that they do not come with the percolator mechinism inside!. Seems like at least once a month we get a phone call from someone that ordered the splatterware coffee pot that is expecting the percolator mechinism inside for dripping the coffee. Remember folks, only the Coffee Percolators actually come with the inside mechinism and clear glass top for percolating coffee on the stovetop or campfire. The coffee pots are for hardcore coffee drinkers where you can make cowboy coffee and mix he coffee grounds right in with the coffee.  But have no fear, we have them both! The very popular and all time favorite Bearfoots Cookie Jar is going into hibernation this month after years of great service and sales. We have just four more coming in for sale and I’m sure they will go fast.
