New for June 2009 from Big Sky Carvers Bearfoots and Artist Jeff Fleming are three great sculptures that are sure to please. Shipping will start mid to late June 2009 and pre-orders will begin at the end of May. Jeff Fleming was born and raised in Montana, surrounded by wilderness and wildlife his entire life. Soon, this love of nature (bears specifically) found its way from his heart to his hands and 23 years ago, Jeff started carving. From little cubs to bears over 20 feet tall, this passion led to other mediums…like sculpture. “There’s a permanence that I fell in love with when working with clay and seeing it evolve into the finished sculpture. Many of my bear designs are based on our outdoor adventures or tell stories that many of us have in common, special moments and fun times shared with family and friends in the Great Outdoors.” The beautiful finish on these hand-cast Jeff Fleming Sculptures are the result of hand-applied patinas and metallic paint, carefully matched to accent all of the subtle details of the artwork. Thanks for all of your orders for the Enamelware and Bearfoots over the last weekend while we were closed. We were able to get about 90% of them shipped on Wed, 04/30, and the rest on Thur, 04/31. Things are back to normal now and we are all tanned and ready for the Memorial Weekend rush for product.
